The Meteor Group acquires GTR Gummitechnik and thereby strengthens its industrial segment
The Meteor Group, a manufacturer of highly complex sealing systems for automobiles and industrial applications, is taking over the operations of GTR Gummitechnik GmbH & Co. KG in Lauingen.

GTR was founded in 1991 by Mr. Uwe Lange and built up by him into a specialist for sealing solutions for window and facade construction with outstanding technological know-how. The spectrum ranges from the production of corner-vulcanized sealing frames and molded part production by means of injection molding to film joint vulcanization of the most demanding sealing systems.
The Meteor Group has a strong development department, its own compounding facility and a large number of state-of-the-art extrusion lines that meet the highest standards. Under the umbrella of the Meteor Group, GTR will in future offer its customers the entire value chain as a "one-stop store". This makes GTR an ideal addition to Meteor's industrial segment.

With the integration and expansion of the GTR site as a competence center, customer requirements can be met even more individually. In addition, specific sealing systems, e.g. for the facade sector, can now be produced in larger quantities than before. GTR has state-of-the-art vulcanizing presses and is thus ideally positioned to meet current and future challenges in these areas.
